You probably already heard the news.
On 3/11, 8.9 Magnitude Earthquake hit Northeast of Japan, also triggered 30-foot ferocious Tsunami to destroy coastal city of Sendai, the city in Miyagi prefecture (state) closest to the quake’s epicenter. After the earthquake, the whole nation was followed with over 100 aftershocks, and we just got another one as I write this. The images are apoclayptic, so surreal that it almost resembled scenes from a Hollywood disaster movies.

Hundreds of miles of Japan’s northeast coastline, entire towns are swamped, leaving thousands dead and thousands (still counting as I write) left with no homes, food, and water and heat. And there are not enough resources to quickly reach – or even contact – the tens of thousands who remain missing.
Prime Minister Naoto Kan called the disaster the country’s worst crisis since World War II. While Tokyo was given a good shake, amazingly it survived largely undamaged. However, one feeling we’ve all sharing at the moment is a terrible sense of uselessness. I wish I can taken it upon myself to get in a car and head north but it’s not the most sensible option at this moment.

BBC Four examines the influence of reggae music throughout Great Britain in their documentary titled Reggae Britannia. The influential form of music captivated a massive audience which would eventually see itself become a cornerstone of other musical genres including punk. If you have a lazy weekend in your plans, the documentary definitely worth checking out.
In light of the release of their Spring 2011 collection, we had owner and provider of the vibes Sean Reveron answer a few questions for us. Sean is a true pioneer and someone who provides constant Light and High Vibes to all ! Not many people in world you can say that about but Sean is the real deal. Support the Rockers Movement !!!!!!
1. Tell us a bit about your current line
SR: I have been in this game since ‘92. I started out working for CONART, and we lived history in the Westcoast hip-hop scene! I wanted to take this collection to an OG era of the streetwear game. We wanted it to have a sense of rebellion, so we drew inspiration from the Westcoast ‘93 uprising.
2. I see spaceman 3 had a big influence on the line, tell us a bit about some of your favorite work they have produced.
SR: Man, what can I say…I love feedback & the wall of sound they create! Their music is so simple but @ the same time very complex, sort of like life.

3. Talk to us about working with Fergadelic.
SR: Now this was mad special! We have known each other for over ten years. We use to be in the Beta Band together, he was the beat box & I was the rapper. We got to tour all over the UK together. Then years passed & he started doing graphics etc…we found ourselves in the same industry…so we were like, let’s create together! Plus we share many of the same influences from hip hop & thrash metal.

God’s Prey Spring/Summer 2011 season, Cosmic Funhouse, is now in stores around the world! This season, we take a trip into the playful and positive world of our psychedelic experience. Spring/Summer 2011 takes street fashion to the next level, invoking a 1977 King’s Road punk rock aesthetic with a classic menswear touch.
Cosmic Funhouse features a mix of both the elegant and the wacky. Our t-shirt graphics delve into a place of psychic reflection, where humanity contemplates both its mortality and the immortal earth energies. For SS11, we also introduce our new textile pattern, Sweet Leaf, which adds to the uniqueness and value of each piece. The Bondage Shorts are tailored high-waist men’s suit shorts with patterned bondage straps to add a sense of playfulness. This season also introduces our accessories with the hand-made studded corset cuffs and our studded men’s 6-panel hat. For outerwear, we offer lightweight cotton versions of our oversized cardigans and our poncho hoodie.
For our launch, we got together with The Giflords from Dumbeyes design company to create some amazing and strange GIFs showcasing our new season.
